Uncle Ben’s Recalled Due to Undeclared Milk

In a press statement, Mars Food US, in conjunction with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), announced the voluntary safety recall of two date codes of Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice Garden Vegetable due to the presence of an undeclared milk allergen. The recall only affects 4.7-ounce (133 g) boxes featuring date codes 133BA4RP06 and 133BB4RP06. The undeclared milk allergen was improperly included in the seasoning mix used for the product by an ingredient supplier. This product could be found in various retail stores in across the country. All consumers are being urged to return the product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
